Our Duffy electric boat is emission free and quiet, which means no fumes or loud engine noises. Join us and breathe in the fresh air of the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula and kick up your feet while an experienced Captain/ Tour Guide takes you on one of the tours into the past, teaching you about the vast historical importance of the Copper Country and the Portage Canal. or take the twilight Tour, w

e also have a fall tour and a option to rent the vessel out for a private tour. We do have soda and water available for purchase, but please feel free to bring your own beer or wine (no glass bottles, please) a fridge and ice chest are also available.(BYOI)
The Dragonfly is made to seat 12 but we are considered an uninspected passenger vessel (OUPV) which means this vessel for hire is only allowed to take six passengers at a time (including children). Lucky for you, this means plenty of elbow room! Our boat is also equipped with a surrey canvas/side windows and a heater for those not so perfect days to keep you warm and dry so you can join us anytime- rain, shine or even snow!

Copper Country Boat Tours is hiring an OUPV Six-Pack Captain for our summer season in Houghton, Michigan.
You’ll run one- and two-hour scenic and sunset cruises in the Portage Canal and on Lake Superior. Pay is $30 per hr tour plus tips, with most captains making $25 to $50 extra per trip. Must have your current OUPV license in hand, be reliable, and available for the summer.
Possible camping near the marina. If you’re a safe, experienced captain who loves the water, send me a message with your experience.
