Sunday, September 13 - The Maine Cheese Festival in Pittsfield, ME is a can’t-miss celebration of Maine’s vibrant food, beverage, and artisan community, bringing together more than 65 Maine-made vendors for a full day of flavor and discovery.
From sampling new cheeses and meeting the makers behind them to enjoying live music throughout the day, the festival offers something for everyone. On September 5th & 6th, join the Eastport Area Chamber of Commerce for the 38th Annual Salmon and Seafood Festival! Since 1987 Eastport Maine has celebrated the end of the summer with a festival, a gathering, and a homage to their local resources. At the center of the celebration is the Atlantic salmon, raised in the cold waters of Passamaquoddy Bay. While food is the main theme of the weekend, enjoy live music by regional performers, arts and crafts vendors, galleries, gift shops, museums, locally brewed beers (wine too) all weekend.​

Thank you Maine Made for designing such a beautiful display!

Yesterday our travels took us to the Maine State Visitor Information Center Hampden (North) and the Maine State Visitor Information Center Houlton to reset the displays of Maine Made products. Each product has a QR code linking to the maker with information on shows their attending, stores that carry their products, and how to purchase.
A huge thank you to the Maine Tourism Association for allowing us this valuable space and for all they do to inform and educate travelers from across the globe.

This year, the Brunswick Outdoor Arts Festival is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary strengthening Brunswick, Maine's downtown through local arts. Since 2006, this festival has showcased a diverse array of fine art, featuring recognized artists as well as emerging creators working across a range of mediums including photography, painting, mixed media, jewelry, fiber, and ceramics. This is a juried fine arts show of 100+ artists displaying and selling their work on the sidewalks of Brunswick's historic Maine Street and lush Town Mall, alongside live music, interactive art, and fun experiences for the whole family!
The festival opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 5:00 PM August 15th, with music performances beginning at 10:00 AM. Admission is free.
