🚢✈️ Alaska Cruisers: Don’t Miss This FREE Seattle Port Valet Service!
If your Alaska cruise ends in Seattle, you may be able to take advantage of Port Valet, a complimentary luggage transfer service sponsored by the Port of Seattle.
With Port Valet, your checked luggage is transferred directly from your cruise ship to your airline, allowing you to enjoy Seattle hands-free before heading to the airport. No hauling suitcases around town and no waiting in airline check-in lines!
✅ What You Need to Know:
• The service is FREE (you only pay your normal airline baggage fees)
• Available at both Seattle cruise terminals (Pier 66 & Pier 91)
• Your flight must depart the same day you disembark
• Flights must leave after 12:00 PM and before 1:30 AM the following day
✈️ Participating Airlines:
Alaska, American, Delta (domestic flights only), Horizon, JetBlue, Southwest, and United
🚢 Participating Cruise Lines:
Carnival, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, Norwegian, Princess, and Royal Caribbean
📋 How It Works:
1. Enroll online before your cruise or complete the form provided onboard.
2. The night before disembarkation, you’ll receive your boarding passes and Port Valet luggage tags in your cabin.
3. Attach the tags and place your checked luggage outside your stateroom door on the final evening.
4. The next morning, walk off the ship with only your carry-on.
5. Enjoy Seattle luggage-free!
6. When you arrive at SEA Airport, go directly to security using the boarding pass provided onboard.
⚠️ Important: Keep passports, IDs, medications, valuables, and anything you’ll need for your flight in your carry-on bag. Once you hand over your checked luggage, you won’t see it again until you arrive at your final destination.
As a travel advisor, I highly recommend this service for anyone wanting to explore Seattle after their cruise without dragging luggage around. It’s one of the best perks available for Alaska cruise passengers!
