Dear guests,

With gratitude, we are pleased to share that Excellence Oyster Bay has weathered Hurricane Melissa safely. Our much-loved resort sustained no structural damage to its buildings or main amenities. Some areas experienced surface-level impact, such as furnishings, windows, landscaping and décor, that will require thoughtful repairs and restoration.

Our dedicated team has already begun this work with determination, and Excellence Oyster Bay will reopen its doors in the second half of November: renewed, refreshed, and ready to welcome you home once again.

We would like to extend our thanks for the support from our guests and followers, and our admiration to our dedicated team members and to the resilient people of Jamaica.

For the moment, guests with arrivals through November 15 are being welcomed at our beautiful resorts in Punta Cana. In the coming days, we will confirm the exact reopening date for Excellence Oyster Bay, anticipated for the second half of the month. Our Call Center team is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (GMT-5) and will be happy to assist you personally.

Important Update

We are deeply grateful to share that all our guests and staff are safe and unharmed after Hurricane Melissa yesterday, following more than 24 hours of strong winds and rain in Jamaica.

Our team is carefully assessing the property to determine any possible impacts. We truly appreciate your patience in the coming hours and days as we continue these evaluations and share updates about resort services and operations as soon as more details become available.

We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent messages and prayers of support.

Our hearts are with everyone in the community and across the island during this challenging time.
