It is a difficult week for air as we lost an airline that provided so many jobs and budget options for travelers.
PLEASE remember that travel insurance is essential and would have covered these travel costs.
It's a very small yearly investment of $280 and covers cancellations, delay, medical, evacuation, loss, etc.
Please let me know if you want a yearly policy!!!
Traveling, especially international, would be crazy to do without protection!

Lost luggage? Delayed flights? Surprise hospital visit because you thought street food made you invincible? Bad weather creates unsafe location? Had 1 too many umbrella drinks and slip on the tile? Yeah… travel has a sense of humor. Anything can happen!

Travel insurance is basically the friend who shows up with snacks, money, and a backup plan when everything goes sideways. We all need that friend.

Because nothing kills vacation vibes faster than paying for a new suitcase, a last-minute hotel, AND a huge international medical bill… all in one day 😅 Many people think their credit card has adequate coverage. Nope, and they don't want to pay it so any technicality will get it denied. Your health insurance? Nope, doesn't cover you at all internationally. I will help you tailor it to what you need, not oversell you or have coverage that doesn't make sense.

Moral of the story:
Buy the travel insurance! It is very affordable!
And if you decide not to go with me, that is fine, but know there is fine print and there is a definite difference between the words protection and insurance. May the odds be ever in your favor if you decide you know better than the travel professional. :)

I take 2 days completely off a year, unplugged and non responsive to any work. Just celebration and rejoice in the day. This Sunday is one of those days!
The exceptions are emergencies for those in destinations. Of course I am here for you!

I personally have this policy.
I highly recommend having a travel insurance policy to cover you in an emergency.
One time you need it and it has more than paid for itself!! But het caught without it Nd you may be paying THOUSANDS out of pocket!

I am aware of the situation going on in Puerto Vallarta and the west coast of Mexico. It is a fluid ongoing situation. There is no threats on east side of country at this time. I am continuing to monitor the situation and will advise my clients accordingly.
Canceling your travel plans to cancun because of this is like comparing "things happening in Minnesota so I better not go to Florida."
Right now it's wait and monitor.

The E-gates in Cancun are working beautifully for tourists!!! Pro tip: keep the thermal receipt!!! The second the machine hands you that thermal receipt, flatten it out and take a clear photo of it. Email that photo to yourself immediately. Thermal paper destroys itself when exposed to heat, humidity, or friction—three things Cancun has in abundance. Having a digital backup of that QR code ensures that even if the physical slip dissolves in your beach bag, you can fly home without a headache.
