To the survivors, the ladies still fighting, the newly diagnosed, the caregivers, and the families remembering someone they love—you are seen, supported, and never alone.

Check on your ladies. Encourage the women you love to get screened. And most of all, continue to show up with love, prayer, and support.

Hey Travel Family! 💕

A delayed flight is frustrating enough. The last thing you want is to get home, file your travel insurance claim, and realize you're missing something the insurance company wants.

Before you walk away from the airport, take a moment to document what happened. Save those airline texts and emails, hold onto your boarding pass, keep receipts for eligible expenses, and ask the airline how you can obtain written confirmation of the delay.

That little bit of organization in the moment can save you a lot of searching later.
Kitty’s rule? If travel goes sideways, keep the paper trail. ✈️😂

Travel with intention. Travel informed. And protect the experience you've invested in.

Yesterday, we walked with purpose. 🎀💕

For 20 years, I performed mammograms, so this cause will always have a special place in my heart.

We walked in honor and memory of some very special ladies—Bernadine Player, Cynthia Morgan, Sharon, Ruby, and Coach D—and for every woman whose life has been touched by breast cancer. 💕

And honey, next year we’re coming back bigger! I want to see even more of our Boujee Betty family walking together, celebrating our survivors and honoring the ladies we carry in our hearts.

Start getting those walking shoes ready! 👟🎀

🎀 BOUJEE QUEENS, TOMORROW I'M WALKING.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this one will always be personal for me.

For more than 20 years, I stood beside women as a mammography technologist.

Tomorrow, I'll be standing beside women in a different way. 💕

And I would LOVE for you to come walk with me.

If you're in Katy, Cypress, Houston or the surrounding area, today is the LAST DAY TO REGISTER for tomorrow's Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. 🎀

Grab your pink, bring a girlfriend, sister, daughter, husband or friend, and come walk with us. 💕

And whether you can join us tomorrow or not, I want to take some of YOU with me.
I'm dedicating my walk tomorrow to the women our Boujee Queens love.

💕 30 DAYS. WE DID IT.

Yesterday officially marked the end of our Girl, Go. — 30 Days of Choosing You Challenge.

And before we move on, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you to every woman who commented.

Every woman who laughed with us.

Every woman who quietly read a post and thought, “Whew…she's talking to me today.” 😂
And even if you never commented once, but something during these 30 days made you stop, think, smile, dream or choose yourself a little differently—you were part of it too.

When I started Girl, Go., it wasn't only about travel.

It was about reminding us that there is still life to live, joy to experience, places to see, dreams to pursue and memories to make.

And we don't have to wait for the perfect time.

We don't have to wait for everybody else to be ready.

Sometimes we simply have to tell ourselves:

💕 DAY 30 — GIRL, GO! FINALE 💕🔥

𝟯𝟬 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗔𝗚𝗢, 𝗜 𝗧𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢.

But I wasn't only talking about getting on a plane.

I was talking about GOING 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

For 30 days, we've laughed, talked, thought, shared, challenged ourselves—and hopefully learned a little more about the woman looking back at us in the mirror.

So I'm not ending this challenge by asking you where you want to travel next.

I'm asking you something bigger.

𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝟭𝟬 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧…undefined

Would you keep waiting?

Would you keep putting everybody else first?

Would you keep saying next year?

Would you keep saving your dreams for someday?

Or would you finally say…

Not something for your children.
Not something for your job.
Not something somebody else needs from you.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗢𝗨.

Now give it a 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

Not one day.
Not soon.
Not when I get around to it.

GIRL… YOUR PASSPORT IS NOT ENOUGH. 👀

You made it to your destination.

Your phone is in your hand.

But your battery is dying…
the Wi-Fi isn't working…
and suddenly you can't pull up the information you need.

HERE'S YOUR TRAVEL TIP: CREATE AN OFFLINE TRAVEL BACKUP BEFORE YOU LEAVE HOME.

Before every international trip, save these somewhere you can access WITHOUT internet:

📸 Photo of your passport information page
✈️ Flight information
🏨 Hotel name, address & phone number
🚘 Airport transfer information
🛡️ Travel insurance information
📞 Emergency contacts
💳 Your credit-card company's international contact number

And here's the part I really want you to remember:

DON'T KEEP YOUR ONLY COPY ON YOUR PHONE.

Print a copy of your important travel information and keep it separate from your originals.

Because being a prepared traveler isn't about expecting something to go wrong.

It's about knowing what to do if it does.

I’ll be proudly representing Boujee Betty Escapes / For Every Katie, and this one is especially close to my heart.

Before Boujee Betty Escapes, I spent more than 30 years as a mammography technologist, caring for women and witnessing firsthand why early detection, support, and breast cancer awareness matter.

Now that I’m retired from mammography, I may not stand beside women in the mammography room anymore—but I can still stand beside them. And this Saturday, I’m walking for them. 🎀
