A perfect day in Asiatown! 🥢🧋🍧
We had the pleasure of showing a friends’ family (who were visiting from out of town) around Houston’s Asiatown—and what better way to experience it than with a little bit of everything we love!

Our private tours include a local market tour, exploring some of the incredible flavors and ingredients found throughout Asiatown, followed by a delicious dim sum lunch filled with plenty of sharing, tasting, and catching up

And, of course, we had to end the day on a sweet note! 🍧✨ We wrapped up our adventure with Korean shaved ice—the perfect refreshing treat after a day of exploring.

There’s something extra special about introducing friends and family to the food, culture, and hidden gems that make Houston’s Asiatown so unique. 💕

Congratulations to our Fall Student Tour Grant recipients! 🎉🚌🎓
We are thrilled to welcome students from Alief 360 School and Aldine Middle School to experience Houston’s vibrant Asiatown through an engaging day of culture, history, food, and hands-on learning.

These educational tours give students the opportunity to explore new cultures, broaden their perspectives, and experience the incredible diversity right here in Houston. We can’t wait to share Asiatown with these amazing students this fall!

What a wonderful evening celebrating the beauty, artistry, and tradition of Taiwanese tea, food & culture! 🫖🇹🇼🍵
From the graceful tea ceremony and opportunity to taste premium Taiwanese teas, to learning about the traditions behind each cup, the experience was a beautiful reminder of how food and beverage can connect us to culture, history, and one another.
We were especially excited to attend this special program connecting Taiwan Culinary × Learning Mandarin and to see cultural education brought to life in such an interactive and engaging way.
A heartfelt thank you to Alice Lee for the invitation, along with the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Federation of Chinese Traders Alumni Greater Houston, and the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office In HoustonOffice in Houston for helping bring this special experience to our local community.

🎓✨ We were honored to welcome 50 students and teachers from the Houston City College Upward Bound Program for an unforgettable day exploring Houston's Asiatown!

The Upward Bound Program does an incredible job preparing high school students for college through academic enrichment, mentorship, and life-changing educational experiences. We're proud that Houston Asiatown Tours could be part of their six-week summer program by providing a hands-on cultural experience, along with dim sum and of course, boba tea 🥟 🥢 🧋

Together, we explored Houston's vibrant Asian community, visited cultural landmarks, learned about the history and traditions that have shaped Asiatown, and enjoyed authentic cuisine while encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones and experience something new.

A special thank you to the Upward Bound staff, whose commitment to mentoring and empowering students extends far beyond the classroom. Your passion for helping students succeed is inspiring, and we're grateful to partner with programs that invest so deeply in our community's future.

We look forward to welcoming more student groups this fall, and continuing to connect young people with the incredible diversity that makes Houston such a remarkable place to learn and grow.
