We’re loading up the Cool Bus for a full day of wandering, laughing, shopping, creating and probably making questionable purchasing decisions. 😂

She’s not competing with anyone.
She’s just doing what she loves. 💗

I think I finally understand that about myself.

I’m not trying to have the biggest shop.
I’m not trying to do what everyone else is doing.
I’m not trying to prove that my way is the right way.

I’m just building the place I wanted to exist.

A place where we can make things.
Try weird ideas.
Cut up the good paper.
Start over.
Make a mess.
Laugh too loud.
Come in alone and leave knowing people.
And create something simply because it makes us happy.

Six months ago, so much of what Create 365 is today was still living in my head.

Now there are collections on the walls that we created.
Classes and workshops.
ATC challenges.
Junk journals.
Paper Candy.
Sticky Bits.
An Embellishment Bar full of possibilities.
People sitting around the tables creating.
And now I even have someone beside me helping me keep up with all the ideas flying out of my brain. 😂

There is still SO much I want to do.

But I’m learning that I don’t have to look sideways to figure out whether I’m doing okay.

I can just keep looking forward.

Keep creating.
Keep trying.
Keep building.
Keep doing what I love.

And apparently, when you do that long enough, you look around one day and realize…

you built something pretty special. 🐦💛

Create something today.
Even if it’s a mess.
