At first it’s:

Feeling a little nervous about your first cruise? Don’t be! 💙

Here are a few things every first-time cruiser should know:

✅ Arrive at the port early, but not TOO early. Stick to your selected boarding time.

✅ Pack a carry-on with essentials. Your luggage may not arrive at your room for a few hours.

✅ Airplane mode is your friend! Avoid unexpected phone charges while at sea.

✅ Download the cruise line’s app before you board. It makes navigating the ship much easier.

✅ Don’t try to do EVERYTHING. Cruise ships are huge and packed with activities. It’s okay to relax!

✅ Most importantly… ask questions! There are no silly questions when it’s your first cruise.

My favorite thing about helping first-time cruisers is watching them go from nervous to completely hooked on cruising by the end of the trip 😂🚢

When comparing cruises and all-inclusive resorts, many travelers assume they’re basically the same thing.

They’re not. 👏🏽

One common misconception:
🏝️ At an all-inclusive resort, you’re usually visiting ONE destination.

🚢 On a cruise, you can wake up in a DIFFERENT destination almost every day without packing and unpacking over and over again.

Another thing people don’t realize:
At many resorts, excursions, transportation, and activities can quickly add up.

With a cruise, your accommodations, transportation between destinations, dining, entertainment, kids clubs, and countless activities are already included.

Don’t forget the resorts offer a more slower relaxed style vacation. Cruises pack everything together and work off schedules.
