Bali: Part 1
Following our eight-day adventure in Thailand, we boarded a Thai Airways flight to Bali, Indonesia, marking my first visit to the country. Our initial stop was Ubud, a breathtaking jungle city known for its spiritual essence. We stayed in a lovely villa, where we were treated to exceptional service, including a chef-prepared dinner and breakfast, daily massages, a private yoga lesson, and even pedicures for the men. We also participated in a private cooking class at the villa, learning how to make local dishes. A highlight of our trip was a full-day private tour with , which took us to various significant sites, such as Tukad Cepung Waterfall, Kanto Lampo Waterfall, Tibumana Waterfall, and Tirta Empul, a sacred Hindu Balinese water temple.
Tips for ease to get into the country:
Bali has made it super easy to get into the country, however you will need a visa, pay the Bali tourist levy, complete a health form and customs declaration all before arriving in country. If this isn’t done beforehand, you may stand in line for a couple of hours to complete all the paperwork.
