BICO Drilling Tools welcomes a prominent Chinese service drilling company currently operating in various oilfields in the Republic of China.

Led by our International Business Manager Rafael Bermudez, with the support from Yan ZhiGong, Aref Al Ali, Farhod Hamidov, Brian McNutt, VP of Sales Mike Dougherty and the VP of Western Hemisphere Joel Gray, M.A. from our sister company D-Tech Rotary Steerable.

The technology workshop successfully showcased BICO Even Wall technology Spirostar Supreme, FrictionBuster (Friction Reduction Technology), and the D-TECH RST technology. Proud to share a recent milestone in Wyoming!

Our valued customer has achieved a significant milestone in the Powder River Basin.

They successfully completed the curve and lateral in a 6 3/4” hole with a single run, utilizing the 5 1/2” SSS140 motor.

Notably, this operation achieved an impressive ROP of 111 ft/hr and excellent build rates while drilling over 10,000 feet.

Our pink BICO motors are set to be shipped out as a tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October, known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is symbolized by the color pink and carries significant importance.

During this time, the focus is on promoting early detection, raising vital funds for research and treatment, providing support to those affected by breast cancer, and increasing awareness about this disease.

It also has a central role in reducing social stigmas, advocating for improved healthcare policies, and building a global network of awareness and solidarity.

Throughout this month-long effort, it empowers individuals to take an active role in their breast health, drives progress in medical research, and, in the end, contributes greatly to saving lives and improving the well-being of those impacted by breast cancer.

Randy brings over 35 years of experience in the oil & gas service sector. Randy spent the first twenty-five years of this career in Halliburton, performing different field and operational management roles.

He later joined Tesco Corporation as VP of Operations for North America, a position he held for over five years.

Randy managed a complex operation of rentals and after-market services for Top Drives, Casing Running, and Casing While Drilling Services in this role. He also managed product sales for North America.
