One of the very best compliments I can receive as a travel advisor has nothing to do with awards, sales numbers, or how many trips I book.

It’s when someone says, “Call Erin.”❤️

A referral means you trusted me with your vacation, and then trusted me enough to put my name in front of someone you care about. A repeat client means you came home from one trip and decided you wanted me beside you for the next one, too.

That means everything to me.

Recently, I saw my name recommended again and again when someone asked for a Disney vacation planner, and I can’t tell you how much that meant. I never take those tags, recommendations, referrals, or repeat bookings for granted.

This business is built on relationships and trust, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who chooses to work with me, comes back for another adventure, or tells someone else, “You need to call Erin.”

Truly, there is no better compliment. 💕

One of the biggest mistakes first-time cruisers make? 🚢

Starting with the price.

A cheaper cruise isn’t necessarily the better cruise if the ship, itinerary or stateroom isn’t right for you.

When I help clients choose a cruise, I start with a different question:

What do you want this vacation to feel like?

That answer tells me a lot more about where we should start.

Happy Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

Today feels like a good reminder of why we work so hard in the first place.

Yes, there are bills to pay, responsibilities, and never-ending to-do lists. But somewhere in all of that, I think we need things to look forward to too.

A week when someone else makes dinner.
Waking up somewhere you have never been before.
Watching your kids or grandkids experience something for the first time.
Taking that trip with your parents while you still can.
Getting away with friends and making memories together.
Or simply sitting somewhere beautiful and realizing you actually slowed down for a minute.

Those are the moments I love helping people plan.

Travel does not have to be extravagant to matter. But I do think using some of that hard-earned vacation time is worth it.

So today I want to know:

If I handed you a plane ticket and told you that you did not have to go to work tomorrow, where are you going? ✈️

No budget. No logistics. Just dream for a minute. 👇

Last week was all about learning, connecting, and experiencing. This week has been all about putting that knowledge back to work. ✈️

I’ve been home for a week now, catching up on emails, servicing client vacations, helping plan new trips, and getting back into the rhythm of everyday travel advisor life.

Before all of that, I spent a few days in Orlando with fellow advisors from Axis Travel Group for our agency retreat. We learned, shared ideas, toured resorts, experienced some incredible properties, met with a few of our fabulous suppliers, toured theme park destinations, and even managed to fit in some fun along the way.

One of the things I value most about being a travel advisor is staying current. Resorts change. Experiences change. Destinations change. And the more I can see, experience, and learn firsthand, the better guidance I can give my clients.

I came home with plenty to share, including Evermore Resort, Discovery Cove, Grand Floridian Club Level, afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian, EPCOT’s Eat to the Beat concerts, and more.

Now I just need to decide where to start. 😊

Grateful to have been invited to participate in the Agent Panel at the AXIS Travel Group Retreat today! ✈️

It was an honor to share my experiences, insights, and perspective alongside an incredible group of travel professionals. Opportunities like this are a meaningful reminder of how far this journey has come and how much value there is in learning from one another as we continue to grow.

Such a fun evening at Princess Love Fest at Total Wine! 🍷🍕🚢

I enjoyed catching up with Hunter, our Princess Cruises BDM, connecting with other travel advisors from around the area, and of course enjoying some pizza and wine tasting along the way.

One of the things I love about events like this is the chance to strengthen relationships with our travel partners, network with fellow advisors, and hear firsthand about what’s new with Princess, including the latest updates and opportunities for Alaska. 🏔️

Staying connected and continuing to learn is such an important part of what I do as a travel advisor. It helps me better guide my clients, answer questions, and keep an eye out for experiences and opportunities that might be the perfect fit for their next vacation.

A great evening of good conversation, new connections, and travel inspiration! ✈️

One of the things I appreciate most about being part of this industry and my agency is knowing there are other advisors willing to step in when life happens.

A fellow advisor has been without power, internet, and reliable cell service for five days, and I’ve been happy to help from out of state by running payments and keeping a few things moving for her clients.

This week was a great reminder that while we each take care of our own clients, we also have people within our agency who are willing to help each other when it matters. ❤️

Here’s hoping her power is back VERY soon! Apparently Day 4 was her limit and the zombie apocalypse contingency plan has already been activated. 😂
