During our "Grand European Spring" tour (April 12-22, 2027) we’ll discover the delicious foods and sweet traditions that have delighted people for generations.
🧀 Our journey takes us to Gouda, Netherlands, a charming historic city dating back to 1272 and famous around the world for its namesake cheese. We’ll enjoy a taste of this Dutch favorite and discover what makes Gouda cheese so special.
🍪 Next, satisfy your sweet tooth with a traditional Dutch stroopwafel! Invented in the late 1700s, this irresistible treat features two thin, crispy waffle cookies joined together with a warm, gooey caramel-like syrup. One bite of this Dutch delight, and you’ll understand why it’s loved around the world!
🥞 After a morning of shopping and sightseeing, we’ll take a delicious break for a traditional Dutch pancake lunch. Known as a pannenkoek, this large, thin pancake falls somewhere between an American pancake and a French crêpe. Whether sweet or savory, it’s a delightful taste of Dutch cuisine!
🍫 And what better way to end our European adventure than with chocolate? On our final day, we’ll visit Chocolate Nation in Antwerp, Belgium—the world’s largest Belgian chocolate museum. Spanning more than 4,000 square meters across three floors, this extraordinary experience celebrates Belgium’s rich chocolate-making heritage and invites us to explore the fascinating story behind one of the world’s favorite indulgences.
