College Bound Campus Tours

College Bound Campus Tours COLLEGE BOUND takes high school sophomores and juniors to explore college campuses.

By getting to know the students before a trip, the trip is personalized to the interests of each and every student.

The Class of 2026 students that traveled with us selected 36 different colleges. Some of those schools were ones they visited during our tours, while others they explored independently. Either way, we hope our tours gave them a valuable framework—a lens through which they could thoughtfully evaluate any college they considered.

In the words of Dr. Seuss, “You’re off to Great Places…your mountain is waiting…so, get on your way!”

Congrats to ALL!

University of Colorado- Boulder 🏔️

Set against the stunning Flatirons, this campus perfectly blends nature and academics. Just a quick 45 minute drive from Denver, but it feels like you’re in the heart of the outdoors.

The architecture was inspired by rural buildings in Tuscany, but adapted to Colorado. The campus has a simple, cohesive style with low horizontal buildings. Walls are made of rough-cut sandstone sourced from nearby quarries. And the Mediterranean red tile roofs harmonize perfectly with the Rocky Mountain backdrop.

Students here are driven but balanced—serious about their studies, yet equally focused on wellness, sustainability, and outdoor living.

I visited during exam week, so the “work hard” energy was definitely in full force—but you can tell the “play hard” side is just as real.

With strong ties to NASA and hands-on opportunities in aerospace, plus cutting-edge research in quantum physics, renewable energy, and climate science, CU Boulder is doing some incredible things.

And of course… Ralphie the Buffalo running across the field before football games 🦬🔥 iconic.

We’ve reached that stretch of senior year where celebrations fill the calendar—proms, parades, parties, and convocations—and there’s so much to honor and reflect on.

It’s a beautiful closing of one chapter, celebrating all that’s been accomplished while stepping forward into a new one full of plans, possibilities, and dreams.

Congratulations to Lizzy, Roscoe, McCray and Charlotte! 🎓✨

Today we celebrate Eleanor, Nate, Walker, and Lulu—well done! 🎉

This year was my first time walking through the college search alongside my own child. College Bound does a great job in the “discovery” portion of the search, but we send students home to make their own decisions. This year I had a seat at the dinner table for conversations at home. I got a glimpse into the thoughts, questions, and hopes shaping Nate’s journey.

One of the lessons I learned? Start the conversations early. Every conversation builds on the last—whether with teachers, with siblings of friends in town for a holiday, or other parents sharing stories of their alma maters. Those early conversations with us give our children the language and confidence to keep exploring, asking, and ultimately finding the place where they’ll thrive.

Again, congrats to these students for wrapping up ALL of those conversations with a confident decision!

Congratulations to Cooper, Saffy, Maddie, and Elizabeth!

These four are heading to different schools and chasing different dreams. But they all share one thing in common: a bold sense of adventure!

We are excited to watch the next four years unfold as they choose what to study, build lasting friendships, and dive into activities. These experiences are going to shape them in the most beautiful ways!

Congratulations, Mary Florence, Gianna, Caroline, and Bradley! So much is ahead for these four. 🎓✨

One of the things that makes this next chapter so exciting is the freedom to explore—schools like W&L, Ole Miss, and Georgia give students the chance to take classes, discover new interests, and grow before choosing a major.

While they may have ideas about the paths they want to pursue, there’s something really special about having the flexibility to learn more about themselves along the way and adjust as they go.

The future isn’t just about having a plan—it’s about being open to where it can lead. Can’t wait to watch it all unfold!

Today we are celebrating Regan, Rob, Anderson, and Madi!

Choosing a college is one of the first major decisions a students will make. And, we want them to approach it with confidence.

Visiting campuses without parents is a powerful first step toward taking ownership of the process and building independence. Students can ask their own questions, own their impressions, and learn to trust their instincts.

We are so happy that we could tour with these four students and we think they each made a great choice!

Mark your calendar with these registration dates and join us next year!

* Please note that we are running registration for the SEC trip a little differently this year. Participation will be limited to no more than 15 students per high school, with an effort to maintain an even split of girls and boys.

Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, and will remain open until we reach a total of 40 students. There is no fee to register.

Once the roster has been finalized, we will share it with participants and request a $300 deposit to secure each student’s spot.

We’re excited about this new approach and look forward to seeing this year’s group come together!

“College is a match to be made, not a prize to be won.” — Frank Sachs ✨

Finding the right fit means looking at the whole picture—academics, social life, location, cost, athletics, traditions, and even family legacy. Every factor matters when it comes to choosing a place where you’ll truly thrive.

We couldn’t be more excited for Jeb, Will, Caitlyn and Jackson who have each found their match. Their journeys are just beginning, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish! 🎓💫

Today we celebrate Davis, Lauren, Elliott, and Tripp—and the great choices they’ve made! 🎉

These students come from four different hometowns and we love how our trips bring together such diverse perspectives. By intentionally mixing students, we’ve seen some incredible connections form. Sometimes they end up at the same school—even rooming together—or cross paths later while studying abroad, interning, or working summer jobs.

It’s always such a treat to receive photos throughout the year when students reconnect and send a selfie to us! 📸

Congratulations, Davis, Lauren, Elliott, and Tripp!
