Step into Uphouse Manor, and you’ll enter a home filled with history, rejuvenation, and new friends. Our building has stood at the heart of Houston Heights since 1908, gathering a rich and storied history. Today, we have a truly unique ambiance, having received a 2014 remodel from owner and interior designer Katrina Price Stillwell. We play host to business travelers, staycationers, girls' trips,

bridal showers, baby showers, and weddings. To build relationships with our guests and become their second home. However folks find us -- whether through a booking site or word of mouth -- we love getting to know them and directing them to one of the shops, restaurants, or spas nearby. And when seated around our huge farmhouse table for meals, folks become fast friends.

Early morning walk of the block and a half north of Uphouse: My neighbor and I agreed, as we discussed the new B-station at W. 19th and Rutland and toured rue new massage business being built out near Ashland, that we are SO FORTUNATE to live where we do. Emerson Rose’s owner has a new boutique opening across the street from its location (Katrina Price Stilwell was pre-shopping) and has become the favorite of neighbors for any meal of the day. Go, 77008!

Hello, Lovely Uphouse Manor guests far and wide. We miss you and your travel stories, the exhaustion you displayed after a long day of work, your dressed up anticipation just before you head to concert at The Heights Theater.

We've been cleaning and clearing out, reading entries in the Guest Book logs (and the cards you're sending us!!!), practicing different breakfasts and occasionally drinking more than our fair share of the Boomtown Coffee on the verandah (it's best to keep getting it fresh).

P.S. Lego misses you, too, but says it's been a record number of walks and he's still getting enough treats without you.
