A honeymoon filled with slow mornings, ocean breezes, and moments that reminded us to simply be present. šŸ¤

Our stay at Six Senses La Sagesse in Grenada was everything we didn’t know we needed. Private pool mornings, bike rides around the property, candle making workshops, wellness experiences, and a beautiful beach just steps away from our room.

Luxury here isn’t just about the accommodations. It’s about how the experience makes you feel. Unplugged. Recharged. Connected.

After postponing our honeymoon, I can honestly say it was worth the wait.

Dear Grenada,

You were everything I didn’t know I needed.

This trip wasn’t about checking boxes, rushing from attraction to attraction, or creating content. It was about slowing down, unplugging, and simply being present. And somehow, this little island managed to give me exactly that.

For those who don’t know, this was also our delayed honeymoon. Life got busy, schedules got complicated, and we had to wait a little longer than expected. Looking back, it was absolutely worth the wait.

My days started with late mornings and a short walk from my bed to my own private pool. My evenings ended overlooking the bay, listening to the sounds of the water and taking in some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.

Grenada never felt rushed.

It felt intentional.

It felt peaceful.

It felt like a place where you could simply breathe.

What I loved most was that I didn’t experience Grenada as a tourist. I experienced it as a traveler.

I ate fresh soursop and mangoes from roadside vendors. I pulled papayas straight from trees while driving through the island. I cooled off with snow cones infused with local rum. My eyes were definitely bigger than my belly because I wanted to try everything. And the food? Absolutely incredible.

After this trip, I completely understand why Grenada is known as the Spice Island.

The flavors, the aromas, the fresh ingredients, the local pride. You can taste it in every bite.

I spent time with locals, learned about the culture, and explored parts of the island that felt authentic and untouched. No mass produced tourist experiences. Just real people, real conversations, and real Grenada.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without a little adventure.

We spent an amazing day at Grand Anse Beach riding jet cars across the crystal blue water. My adrenaline was fully satisfied.

And what would a vacation be without a massage?

One of my favorite moments was receiving an outdoor massage while listening to the rain fall around me. The sound alone was enough to put me in a trance.

Even our resort experiences felt different.

We stayed at Six Senses La Sagesse, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect fit for us. I made my own body scrub, participated in candle making classes, and even learned how to ride an electric bike for the very first time. Let’s just say my bruises and sore backside can confirm that adventure took place. šŸ˜‚

The farm to table dining was exceptional. The nightly saxophone performances overlooking the bay were magical. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles every day and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

There were long walks on the beach.

Quiet mornings.

Melodic evenings.

Great food.

Great people.

And plenty of moments that reminded me to slow down and enjoy the life I’ve worked so hard to build.

The truth is, I needed more time.

More sunsets.

More beach walks.

More local food.

More conversations.

More Grenada.

This wasn’t just a vacation.

It was a reset.

A reminder that luxury isn’t always about excess. Sometimes luxury is having the time and space to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself.

Grenada, thank you for the memories, the culture, the adventure, the relaxation, and the reminder that life doesn’t always have to move so fast.

You were truly a vibe.

Until next time, Spice Island. ā¤ļøšŸ‡¬šŸ‡©

Sorry I didn’t take many photos. I was too busy living in the moment.

They see me… but it’s never just been me.

Behind Travel Antics is a team of women who are doing real work… not just showing up online, but building relationships, gaining knowledge, and mastering their craft behind the scenes.

This growth didn’t happen overnight. It’s been intentional.

When I brought agents into Travel Antics, I wasn’t looking for people who just wanted to ā€œbook trips.ā€
I wanted women who understood the importance of foundation, education, and a client experience that reflects the standard Travel Antics is known for.

And they’ve been building exactly that… brick by brick.

✨ Lavenya has been on the ground in Mexico
Attending live workshops
Meeting directly with wedding and event managers
Touring properties and conducting site inspections
Building relationships with local partners and hoteliers

✨ Jenaire has stepped fully into her role
Creating her own curated experiences
Negotiating contracts with our European partners
Implementing systems to elevate the booking process
Attending trainings and studying new destinations to better serve her clients

This is what growth looks like behind the scenes.

Things are changing.
We are evolving.
And Travel Antics is becoming something much bigger than a one-person brand.

When you book with us, you’re not just getting a travel agent…
You’re getting a team that is actively investing in becoming better for you.

And this is only the beginning.

Stay tuned… I’ll be introducing each of them individually šŸ’¼āœØ
