Trust me, you DON'T want to lose your hearing! About the 3rd time you say "what??" or " Huh???" people roll their eyes and think you're stupid, not hard of hearing. High frequency loss (easily stopped) is like losing the "tuner" on your radio; you can't get it tuned to hear things like you'd like. Low frequency loss is like losing the volume k**b - lose low frequency and you won't hear much of ANYTHING! Low frequency noise is VERY difficult to stop. (PLEASE don't be "basing"!!
