My goal is to provide you and your family with a warm and relaxing environment during each session so I can capture you, being you… naturally. Here at Smitten Photography, my family portrait photography offers a somewhat dream-like interpretation of natural family moments. I create happy,

loving images of families and children by shooting with warm, soft and natural light in rustic, earthy environments that have a lot of texture and subtle tones. I strive to use creativity in each of my photo sessions to deliver images that are unique to each family and make my subjects stand out in the picture. I create my art by getting to know the family I am photographing and allowing their natural personalities to guide and inspire me throughout the shoot. With years of experience in family portraiture, a degree in photography, and a passion for what I do, I am the perfect choice for unique portraits that show a genuine portrayal of loving family moments. A little about me... I live in Southern Maryland, although, I return to my hometown in Allentown, PA quite often to visit my family -who are very dear to me. I shoot on location, either in your home or local park, and I specialize in natural light photography. I'm gonna WAY overshare with this session but in my defense, this is my friend's family and I was very invested from the start... I even helped Mom pick out the outfits! My boys came along as usual to help with props and making silly faces to help get great smiles.. and they ended up in a few pictures too because I just had to capture a few shots of them with their buddies (even if they don't admit they're buddies 😜 ahem, see last picture 😂😂😂). We love the Webbers!!

Our good friends are moving soon and I couldn't let them leave without taking their family pictures! They've enjoyed their diversion into country living and have an impressive coop full of beautiful chickens that the kids mostly take care of... so I insisted that we take a picture of the kids with their hens. I absolutely love how this turned out!

Having 4 boys, any time I get to photograph girls, especially a family with 3 spunky girls, is an absolute dream come true!! Just wait until you all see how cute this family is!

Last time I photographed them, this little lady wasn't even a glimmer in her parents' eyes so I figured her preview just had to be the first! 😍

(On a side note: do you know how incredibly difficult it is for me not to absolutely devour your babies when you bring them to me?? 😘🥰😍 I totally promise not to but they're just sooo stinkin yummy!)

These guys are the reason I do what I do! Literally! Not only did I start doing photography more seriously once I realized how much I enjoyed photographing them as they grew but I literally couldn’t do this without them! Ask anyone who has had a session with me before and I usually have one (or all!) of my boys with me helping during my sessions!

I've watched Jahari grow into such a handsome, well rounded young man over the past decade. In just a couple weeks he will be leaving to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tahiti! I'm so proud of him and was so honored he asked me to take his "going away" pictures.
