Heading to Venice soon?
Don’t forget: on select high‑traffic dates, the city requires ALL visitors to either pay the Access Fee or complete an exemption form.

If you’re staying overnight in Venice, you don’t pay the fee, but you DO need to register and get your free QR code.

You can complete it here: cda.ve.it/en
It only takes a minute and helps you avoid issues at the access checkpoints.

Heading to Ireland? A jaunting ride is a traditional horse‑drawn carriage tour, led by a local guide called a jarvey. It’s one of the most iconic ways to explore Killarney National Park, Muckross House, Ross Castle, and the beautiful lakes and woodlands.

The jarveys are known for their stories, humor, and local knowledge, making the ride just as fun as the scenery. It’s a relaxing, old‑world experience you won’t find anywhere else.

🔌 Ireland uses Type G outlets — the same as the UK. That’s the one with three rectangular prongs.

⚡ Adapter vs. Converter (they’re not the same!)

An adapter just lets your plug fit the outlet.

A converter changes the voltage.
Ireland runs on 230V, but most modern electronics (phones, tablets, laptops, e‑readers, camera chargers) are already 100–240V compatible, so an adapter is usually all you need.

🌍 If you’ve traveled to Europe before:

UK trip? You already have the right adapter.

France/Italy/Germany/etc.? You likely have a Type C/F adapter (two round pins). Those won’t work in Ireland, unless you purchased a kit that came with multiple options.

US to UK Ireland Plug Adapter works in Ireland, Dubai, England, Scotland, Hongkong, Singapore, the UAE, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Nigeria

If you are looking for a quiet piece of heaven on you next American Cruise, check out the seats on the front of the ship. You can't see them from the lounge, so they are a bit hidden. You can only access them by the door on the right in the lounge on the 3rd floor.
