I went to Miraval Resort in Tucson, AZ for a work conference. I knew they had a spa but had no idea what to expect and it was AMAZING! Imagine a relaxing resort where you can run around all day in work out clothes or a robe and makeup is optional...even in the dining room for dinner! They have a sleeping bag and bed for your cell phone, food and bev is organic, tasty and included so you don’t need your wallet and tipping is not accepted. The classes were so inspirational and fun and I was with an amazing group of Women in Real Estate (WIRE Group) which made it even better to share the experience with special people. I would recommend this resort for everyone to put on their bucket list!

Over 20 years ago when Dave and I first started dating he surprised me for my 30th birthday with a cruise to Europe. With eager anticipation I tossed coins into the Trevi Fountain with hopes for our future. Now in honor of our 20 year wedding anniversary, we returned with our kids to revisit some of our favorite places and share some new experiences... because the farther you reach...the closer you get❤️✈️🌎

I was watching a travel show called The Voyager and then looked up the host, Josh Garcia, to find out how he started his travel show. I came across this great piece of advice and thought I would share...❤️🌎

What is the Key to Life? It was implied that it'd reveal itself when I chose my major, got a promotion, or bought a house. But no sense of my true purpose was ever found there. In fact money, accumulation and consumption seemed to be the easiest ways to live a short, meaningless life.
At 37, I discovered the Key to Life. I want you to listen closely. My purpose AND yours, can simply be summed up in one word: Service. And it was the day I learned this, that I became wealthiest man in the world.
When I hoard or withhold, I cease to contribute. And when I've stopped giving, the human spirit begins to die. Which is why If I'm not, in some way, spending my years contributing my talents to someone,
anyone, or anything, then I am wasting my life.
When I work towards something greater than myself, I find meaning. And if my life means something to someone other than myself, I find purpose. When I give, I move to the "I can make a difference" mindset. I can create and generate happiness which compounds my power, my importance, and as a result, my esteem. I feel true joy and bliss, and because the universe continues to match my contributions, I get more, I enjoy more, I feel more, granting me access to a canyon of satisfaction and gratitude that I never fathomed. As a result, my love for others is enhanced, my happiness bleeds deeper, I grow richer, and feel the full-spectrum of my connection to everything. This is what living in service looks like, and it's when I am my happiest. .
Do not stay trapped in thinking about only what you can get, or how you will profit. There is nothing for you to take away from this world. YOU have come to this life to be of service...however you can. It's that simple. Master this idea, and you will know the transformative power of serving others. No money is needed. Do it, and I promise, fear will retreat, and your love will be unstoppable. .

What is an RTW -around the world trip?
This seems like a simple question…you just circumnavigate the world right? But for how long? How many stops? Who do you go with? and most importantly...how could I afford such a grand adventure? There are no right or wrong answers, it is all about what it means to you!

These kind of trips sound like something reserved for the rich or famous, or something where you have to sell your house and travel for a year, but I was determined to make it fit into real life and into a reasonable budget! (RTW trips can actually end up saving you time and money...but more details on that later.)

Next, how do you choose your destinations? After much contemplation I decided that my criteria was to squeeze in as many diverse cultures, religions and unique experiences that I could cram into the most amount of time that we could get off of work!

The next question was who do I go with? Many articles I read said that traveling alone, or maybe with one other person, were the best way to go so that you could really enjoy and not have too many opinions to deal with. For me, the joy would be in sharing the experience with my husband and kids, 11 and 14 at the time. I mean what better gift to give your kids than to give them the world right?!

So first you get your vision and then figure out how to make it a reality.
