"My mom is 89 years old. A few weeks before Christmas, her old dog passed away, and she was very sad. She decided not to get another dog because she thought it wouldn’t be fair since she is disabled and didn’t think she would live long enough to take care of it.

But a dog rescuer who had helped her before knew her dog had died. When a little 12-year-old dog came in whose owner had also passed away, she called my mom to see if she wanted to adopt him. By then, my mom was feeling really lonely without a furry friend, so she decided to give it a try.

As you can see in the photo, they got along really well and are so happy together. Both of them have found new joy in their lives and love each other very much." Credit goes to the respective owner 🌷

Love knows no age. Sometimes, opening your heart again can bring joy and companionship when you least expect it.
