Due to the continuing shortage of staff for screening, and air traffic controllers, right now be very careful in air travel. Use a travel agent.

On domestic flights allow 3 hours for airport arrival and connections. On international flights check in and allow 4 hours for connections. And be prepared for flight delays.

Getting through Security can take an hour, and arriving from outside the U. S. and clearing Customs, Immigration and baggage can take 1 1/2 hours - plus another hour for going through security when you change buildings.

And remember, you board the plane ONE HOUR BEFORE DEPARTURE and the door is closed 30 minutes before “departure”.

When you purchase online Airline reservation systems and direct buy systems DO NOT TELL YOU when you are buying TOO SHORT CONNECTIONS. Use me, 248-506-4483.

And if you buy direct I would be happy to sell you travel insurance for that international trip or cruise, that includes HOSPITAL OF YOUR CHOICE IN THE U. S. and has funding to cover the high cost of an air medical ambulance home and will cover your full hospitalization costs. Nearly all U. S. health insurance, including Medicare, don’t cover costs outside of the U. S. And don’t just buy the cheapest travel insurance policy! It won’t cover your costs. Work with me.

American, Spirit & Delta have recently permanently cancelled dozens of flights with passengers forced to secure alternative travel plans.

If you buy directly from the airlines for international travel I would be happy to help you get Travel Insurance that covers cancellations, delays, health care outside the U. S. up to $100,000, emergency medical evacuation up to $1 million and brings you back to THE HOSPITAL OF YOUR CHOICE IN THE UNITED STATES rather then the nearest local hospital.

Don’t be fooled by insurance price. Focus on coverage. And nearly all American health care programs only cover U. S. medical expenses.

Europeans and Asian tourists have stopped coming to the United States. Many flights to Europe and Asia may be continued to be cut during the coming months as our major airlines can’t fill their planes in both directions.
