The word is out! Huntington is getting a one-of-a-kind troll sculpture from world-renowned artist, Thomas Dambo , that will put our community on the map... the Troll Map that is!
Huntington Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Huntington Area Development Co and Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce are bringing this placemaking initiative to life through an unprecedented collaboration. Combining economic development, tourism and local business, this project is bringing something extraordinary to Huntington that locals and travelers alike will be able to visit for years to come.
“Every day, tens of thousands of drivers pass right by our doorstep,” said Anna Adkins, President & CEO of the Huntington Area CVB. “This installation gives them a compelling reason to exit the highway, explore our community, and stay awhile. Beyond the significant visitor spending and economic return, it will generate, projects like this elevate how people perceive Huntington, showing the world that we are a creative, welcoming, and forward-thinking destination.”
