To show our support of the Alzheimer's Association and their fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia, Deer Path of Huntley will be hosting a fundraiser onsite at our community for the 4th year in a row.

Our featured resident for June’s Touching Lives is Gabriel, or Gabe like he prefers to be called. Gabe was born in Barrington, Illinois but spent the first eight months of his life at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, before moving to the Northwest suburbs. During his younger years, he enjoyed playing Bocce Ball as well as other activities with the Northwest Special Regulation Association (NWSRA). He later became a committee member there after meeting his girlfriend who encouraged him to join the NWSRA. Gabe grew up with two older brothers, 1 older sister and two cats, Chubbs and Enzo. Gabe loves his independence and socializing with others, which is what brought him to Deer Path of Huntley. He considers himself a very good listener and is always open to talking or listening to anyone that would like to chat. Gabe loves participating in many of the activities offered such as Wii bowling, Jumbo Uno, and Karaoke. When describing himself, the first words that come to mind are “empathetic and optimistic.” Thank you for choosing Deer Path as your home Gabe, we love having you here.
