Our prayer for comfort and peace to Louie and Jane Tippett (Owners of the Historic Lowry House) in the loss of their daughter, Cynthia Tippett Masucci, she was a beautiful person.

Comforting God,

You have promised that you are near to the broken-hearted. We ask that Louie and Jane might sense your peaceful presence with them in these days and weeks ahead.

May they find comfort as they remember the happy memories they shared with Cynthia. May they find comfort and glimmers of hope even as they look to the future.

May they sense your arms of love holding them.

CPT Carl Gamble and the Madison County Hall of Heroes

Hayden Historical Tours, Inc. is proud to have taken part in the induction of CPT Carl Gamble into the he Madison County Military Heritage Commission (MCMHC) - Madison County Hall of Heroes. The Hall of Heroes publicly recognizes and honors Madison County veterans who have received awards for valor and is located in the Madison County Courthouse. On November 9, 2018 CPT Gamble was inducted into this elite group of Madison County military veterans. Just remember the next time you are in the Madison County Courthouse, take the time to view the Hall of Heroes that now has the name of CPT Carl Gamble displayed. A special thank you to Mr. Eric Deets, MCMHC, Military Heritage Displays Committee, Hall of Heroes Display.

Hidden in Plain Sight: The Historic Lowry House and The Underground Railroad on September 8, 2018 at 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM is a free event. No tickets or reservations are required. The program will consist of a presentation and immediately following attendees will be put into groups and will be taken on a tour of this historic home.

Mrs. Willie Louise Murray - 100 Years Old
Mr. Bobby Hayden, President of Hayden Historical Tours, Inc. (HHTI) and several officers of HHTI had the honor of joining in the celebration of the 100th birthday of Mrs. Willie Louise Murray on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Joining in the celebration was Representative Laura Hall and Representative Anthony Daniels who presented Mrs. Murray with a proclamation recognizing this momentous occasion on this beautiful centenarian’s birthday.
