On this day in 1965, Walt, along with his brother Roy, announce Disney World would be opening in Orlando.

It wasn't until after Walt's death, just a year after this historic announcement, that Roy added Walt's name to the park, to honor his brother, making it officially "Walt Disney World".

I can't help but to notice and admire Walt's excitement when talking about the future of thepark. 🏰

A great time to ride Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is at night, the best time to ride it though, is when there is a “13” minute wait.

A must order while at the Magic Kingdom is the giant Cinnamon Roll and a Lefou’s Brew from Gaston’s Tavern. It’s located on the back side of Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train near Enchanted Tales with Belle. Don’t forget to ask for the extra icing!

Shout-out to the best baker in Orlando! Many times I've ordered these boxes for clients and had to "Lost Boy style" enjoy eating this delectable Breakfast Box using my imagination, but alas! I finally ordered one for myself and got to experience what my clients have been raving about! It was the perfect mix of baked goods to grab on our way out the door before the parks! The Mickey cookies looked nearly too perfect to eat and you're at Disney, eat a cookie for breakfast! I highly recommend ordering from SammiCakes & Cookies for your next trip!
