For my Mom's first backpack hunt we chose First Lite gear to make sure see stayed comfortable in the elements of Alaska.
The Womens Furnace Long Jane's base layer was her favorite, keeping her warm on the long windy glassing sessions.
Followed by the 308 fleece lined pants that provided a great defense against the wind but still had awesome maneuverability she described in one word, "Amazing."
To top it off...😉, She sported the Women's Kiln Hoody that is so soft, she wiped her nose all day on it and never chafed! She also wore an older version of the storm shelter jacket that I have owned for years.
