👟 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 👟
For the first time since 2006, travelers at airports across the United States no longer have to remove their shoes as part of the usual security screening protocols.

👮‍♀️ US Homeland Security officials announced today (July 8, 2025) that this relaxation of the standard screening process takes effect immediately. Due to the advancement of security technology and safety measures over the last 2 decades, removing shoes has been deemed no longer necessary.

✅ Travelers who have TSA Pre-Check have already been enjoying this perk for a while, but now all travelers can avoid the hassle of removing their shoes in the airport.

📝 All rules regarding removing a belt, coat, or items out of a bag such as laptops or liquids are still in effect at this time.

Disney Cruise Line just announced this!
"Beginning June 18, 2025, the required deposit for Disney Cruise Line reservations is changing from 20% to 10% of the voyage fare for new bookings! For existing reservations made on or before June 17, 2025, the original 20% deposit remains in place in accordance with the terms agreed upon at the time of booking."
This is AMAZING NEWS! 🤩 This will definitely make Disney cruises more accessible to a lot of families. And don't forget, you can currently book sailings through September of 2026. And as a rule of thumb, the further out you book your cruise the more affordable it will be (rates tend to increase the closer you get to your sailing date). Tomorrow I’m taking my 3 princesses (ages 8, 6, and 3) to Magic Kingdom. 🏰 It will be my 3yo’s first-ever Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment and she is SO EXCITED for it! 😍 Plus we’ll be trying out Cinderella’s Royal Table again (haven’t been back for 3 years, since facemasks and socially distancing were a thing!).
