☕🥐 We wrapped up our last full day in Cortina doing a little bit of everything we love — morning cappuccinos and pastries, wandering around town, and tackling the stunning Tre Cime hike (plus some extra trails to catch the views at Cadini di Misurina). The scenery did not disappoint! ⛰️

Ended the day with Cokes and Aperol Spritz at Rifugio Auronzo, followed by a fun dinner back in town — complete with tiramisu, of course. 🍹🍝

Today we packed up and made our way to our next Dolomites home base. Can’t wait to explore more of Northern Italy over the next few days! 🇮🇹

🇮🇹 From the canals of Venice to the peaks of the Dolomites! 🏔️

Yesterday we traded gondolas for gondolas of a different kind—riding high up to Cortina d’Ampezzo, future host of the 2026 Winter Olympics 🥇⛷️ (can’t wait to see these slopes full of world-class skiers and curlers!).

Today we explored Cortina’s charming alpine town before heading off on a truly unforgettable hike through the WWI tunnels of Lagazuoi. Crawling through caves, ducking into old fortifications, and popping out to jaw-dropping mountain views was such a unique way to experience the history and natural beauty of this region. 🇮🇹⛰️

Topped it off with lunch at Rifugio Lagazuoi—nothing like a cold beer (or spritz 😉) with a view! Can’t wait for more epic heights and Dolomites sightseeing tomorrow.

Ciao, Venice! 🇮🇹✨

We wrapped up an unforgettable adventure in this magical city this morning as we hopped aboard a water taxi for our next chapter! 🚖💦 Yesterday was nothing short of perfect — from the awe-inspiring Basilica di San Marco and its bell tower 🏰, to wandering through the vibrant Rialto, Dorsoduro, and getting happily lost in Venice’s hidden artisan shops and grand palazzos 🏙️.

We ate our way through the city: pizza, cicchetti, fresh fish, and endless gelato 🍕🍦 — all paired with the finest local vino 🍷. A stroll through the bustling fish market was a true feast for the senses! 🐟

We spent our last evening enjoying a Grand Canal tour, taking in Venice’s timeless beauty as we glided through her iconic waterways 🚤💙

Just WOW, Jose Ignacio! We are in awe of this vibrant and lively town on Uruguay’s coast with miles of endless beaches, outstanding restaurants, and local boutiques. We only wish we could stay a bit longer, but are grateful for the time away soaking in the sun and precious time together as a family! After a long day of travel, we arrived via boat and rental car to Jose Ignacio, Uruguay! We are loving the beachy vibes and had an awesome dinner at La Susana while digging our feet into the sand! 🚢🚙🌊☀️🏝️🍣🍹🇺🇾❤️

Happy New Year from Buenos Aires! Yesterday we took in as many historic sites (and cafes) as we could before heading to ring in the new year at Madero Tango. It was like attending a wedding and sitting at a table without knowing anyone….or speaking their language….but we quickly made new lifelong friends with beautiful humans from Brazil! We will never forget this New Year’s Eve celebration and are so grateful for this amazing getaway to Argentina and beyond! 🕺🏻💃🥂🎉🎆🎇❤️

Today we explored the MALBA art museum including works by Frida Kahlo, took a tour of Boca Juniors soccer stadium, explored Caminito and the colorful streets of La Boca, and ended the day with an Argentinian dinner at La Cabrera!! We are loving the vibrant lifestyle and hospitality in Buenos Aires and can’t wait for what the rest of our adventure holds! Today we took a private day trip tour of the Tigre Delta and the Rio de la Plata, the world’s largest river! Our tour guide, Rosa, was a wealth of knowledge, and we enjoyed lunch in Tigre, famous for its rowing clubs and restaurants. We ended the day back in Palermo for a self guided tour of its murals and graffiti walls….as well as amazing dining, drinks, and helados! Until tomorrow! BA, you have my ❤️! From a morning run through Bosques De Palermo, exploring Recoleta and the Recoleta Cemetery, visiting Recoleta’s Sunday market and supporting some amazing local artists, taking a tour of the world renowned Teatro Colón opera house, searching for the best new read in the infamous El Ateneo bookstore, checking out the Obelisk national monument of Buenos Aires, eating and drinking our way through the city and discovering helados ice cream at Rapanui, to exploring the vibrant colors of Palermo at night…..we are taking it ALL in!
