Catch redfish, flounder, speckle trout, black drum and the occasional shark all before breakfast. Only six miles to Port O'Connor, you are minutes away from the open gulf. Fish the oyster reefs and nearby Lavaca, Kox, and Keller

bays. Even the back yard offers spectacular blue crab and oyster hunting. Be sure to visit the fishing center for good fishing advice, good people, and good times. More adventures await, access some of the best kayaking trails around from the back yard. See how many different kinds of birds you can find, Explore the many trails, parks and historic sites of Calhoun County. Visit nearby Port Lavaca and Rockport for unique shopping, culture and dining experiences. A romantic getaway, the Blue Crab is located on one of the most private lots on the beach. Watch the sunrise over the water from bed or enjoy a moonlit glass of wine on the bay. And then there's the beaches. The Blue Crab 2.0 survived her first hurricane!

Beryl did some serious damage across the state and we feel extremely lucky to come out of it with almost no damage.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are dealing with the impact of this storm.

💙The Blue Crab is ready for guests.💙

We still need to landscape and there is plenty of mud right now but the cottage is completly finished. Mark , Sierra and Austin got everything moved in and set up.
Miss phyllis has it spotless and ready for our first guests.
