Tide Traveler Tours takes its clients on an unforgettable journey through the largely undeveloped Waccasassa River and its tributaries via our new 24' Carolina Skiff. If you prefer to travel the tide with more of a slow-paced style, rent a kayak or canoe and explore the hardwood hammock, upstream. Bring your camera to snap a few pics of the wildlife along your way-manatees, alligators, osprey and

many other native fowl, and streaked-neck turtles just to name a few. We also offer drop-off and pick-up services for paddlers who want to explore the far corners of the Waccasassa Bay State Preserve. Consider camping with us at one of our primitive campsites along the river...cook over an open fire, sleep under the stars, and replace the sound of your alarm clock with the beautiful sounds of nature. Launch site for tours is the Waccasassa Boat Ramp in Gulf Hammock, FL at the end of CR 326. **Please note, the true physical address of this site is Inglis, FL (you can click on the map linked to this page for true directions), however, the locals recognize this area as Gulf Hammock. From Hwy 19 in Gulf Hammock, turn west onto CR 326 and follow it to the end. If you are coming from the south (Tampa/Homosassa/Crystal River) you will make a left at the caution light onto 326, and if you are coming from the north (Tallahassee, Cross City/Chiefland) you make a right.
