There are several beach accesses from the Prominence neighborhood.

One of our favorite beach access spots near Prominence is Deer Lake State Park 🌊🌿

For just $3 per vehicle, you get a peaceful, well-maintained beach experience that’s hard to beat. Right off the parking lot, there are clean restrooms, a covered picnic area with charcoal grills, and even a convenient foot wash station for when you head back from the beach.

The walk to the beach is a little longer, but it’s part of the charm—take the scenic boardwalk and enjoy beautiful views of the dunes along the way.

Once you arrive, you’ll find plenty of space to spread out. One of the best parts—there are no vendors setting up rows of beach chairs and umbrellas, so nothing takes away from the natural beauty or your access to the beach.

If you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxed beach day, this spot is definitely worth checking out! ☀️🏖️
