Cannon’s Last Shot

Once again our Grid-Getting-Guest was out there with Redline Guide Chase Hall bagging the final ascent of Cannon Mountain. He has four more peaks to do this summer then a few more winter peaks. All told he will finished in about 13 months with the grand completion on Mt Jackson... but we're getting ahead of ourselves. For now, let's check out some of today's gorgeous photos. One for the Bucket List

We were contacted by a person looking for guidance and a guide for a hike up Mt Washington. Doing this hike, as we learned, was a bucket list item for them. Carrigain for May

Our Grid-Getting-Guest was at it again, this time on Mt Carrigain which he needed for May. It was tough going what with the exceptional heat and humidity but he got it done and the month of May is done. Lead and photos, as usual, was offered by Redline Guide Chase Hall. Two More Days

Our oft-returning Grid-Gettin-Guest was at it again, taking on two more mountains on day one of two under the watchful eye of Redline Guide Chase Hall. The mountains were Madison (for its final ascent) and Adams (with one more to go). This ended up being a 10 mile day with a whopping 5300' of elevation gain. Lesson One: Safety Pivot

The team just got back from this weekend's educational backpacking adventure for women (with another one being planned for a future date). According to team lead, Redline Guide and Instructor Rhonda Willette, they had a great experience, early season, no bugs, wonderful location (Sawyer Pond this time), and a little rain to fill the gaps.
