How to lease an airplane for profit in 10 steps
Step one: structure a tax entity
Step two: open business bank account
Step three: find the airplane (get the deal)
Step four: find funding (banks, investors, ect)
Step five: due diligence
Step six: close on airplane
Step seven: delivery logistics (big tax saving often missed)
Step eight: advertise for a flight school to lease it
Step nine: sign lease, get insurance, collect deposit
Step ten: rinse and repeat. Cash flow the lease payments, take advantage of 100% bonus depreciation, scale to a fleet.
