2.5 miles off the eastern tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula, predawn begins to warm over the cool night at the seldom photographed Gull Rock Lighthouse. Manitou Island due east in the back ground.

I’m completely amazed that little lighthouse still stands on that tiny rock island after all these years of being brutalized over and over again by relentless winter storms and ice. Unreal.
