Winter has struck in the Upper Midwest and my thoughts turn to hunting light geese, its all I can think about. Who else is getting fired up to chase snow geese this spring?

Well it looks like spring may be here to stay. The spring peepers and wood frogs are calling. The woodcock are displaying every night on the farm. The turkeys have been strutting and gobbling for some time. Soon its going to be planting time. Turkeys, fish, and work will take up every minute I can keep my eyes open. You gotta love late spring!

Well it looks like today may be the end of MO spring 2010. I've never seen a year where the birds blew through here so fast. It was a good year and I enjoyed it very much thanks to everyone who hunted with me. Thanks again guys for a great Missouri trip. South Dakota here I come!
