Kristi wrote " My husband and I stayed at The Maple House 6/25/26- 6/28/26. We were attending my 55th high school reunion. We loved the house. It was so much more beautiful than we knew when we rented it. Exposed beams in dining room, leaded glass pocket doors, a fireplace, built in cabinets and cupboards...We love this kind of house. It was easy to walk downtown for breakfast and a great coffee shop. The host was welcoming and answered our questions quickly. The house was very clean. The code was easy to access and worked consistently. When my friends asked where we were staying, we told all of them about this house. Many of them live in the Lower Peninsula of MI, so they need places to stay. Some drive from MN as well. Thank you so much for a fun place to unwind and feel at home! The only thing we'd like was more history on the house like who built it and when and past owners"
