the coach and depart at 9 pm for the return home.
We will have a freshen up stop en route home, with rest area
Stops. We will have 2 drivers do a driver exchange enroute
$100 deposit must be paid to hold your seat. Total Price is $296.
Balance of $196 in full by March 5, 2026

Some journeys don’t start on a map. They begin around kitchen tables, in family stories, and in the hearts of people who love bringing others together.

Scoot Around Tours proudly continues a legacy more than 25 years strong. That story starts with Karen Knipp and Fred Knipp, the husband-and-wife team behind Knipp Tours. Together, they brought friends, families, and neighbors to new cities, bright lights, big experiences, and memories that still travel through our community today.

Karen guided the trips with her warm spirit and love for adventure, while Fred Knipp supported every mile, every plan, and every traveler along the way. He helped keep things running, offered steady support, and stood as a true partner in building what became a beloved regional travel tradition.

Standing beside them throughout the years was their daughter, Theresa Knipp, helping organize trips, assist passengers, and keep every journey running smooth and full of heart.

Today, I’m James Knipp, their grandson, honored to carry this family tradition forward. With the same passion for bringing people together and exploring the world beyond our front door, I am building the next chapter of our family’s travel legacy.

And just as she supported her parents, Theresa Knipp is now supporting me, helping guide our tours, welcome passengers, and keep that warm family feeling at the heart of every trip.

October 7-13, Mackinac Island Depart Monday morning from Wheelersburg, Ironton, South Point, 5 nights lodging including 3 consecutive nights in Northern Michigan; 8 meals includes 5 breakfast and 3 dinners. Visit to Mackinac Island, includes a tour, Boat ride through Soo Locks; free time & sight seeing in Sault Sainte Marie, visit Mackinaw Crossing, admission into Colonial Michillimackinac; cost is $840 per person double occupancy

October 25-27, Salem MA Halloween Tour Depart Friday evening from Wheelersburg, Ironton, South Point, and Cross Lanes in WV. Travel through the night, arrive Saturday morning, enjoy the Halloween Celebration in Salem, return to the hotel for good nights rest, then depart for home on Sunday. $589 per person with double occupancy
November 29-30 CHRISTMAS IN AMISH COUNTY. Depart on on motor coach equipped with restroom, from Wheelersburg, Ironton, South Point, OH; Crosslanes, WV. We will stop for rest area and a fast food en route to Holmes County. We will visit the World’s Largest Coco Clock, shopping. Check into “The Berlin Grand Hotel”. Enjoy the Berlin LIVE NATIVITY Christmas Parade with Live music afterwards. (seats are included) Dinner at the FARMSTEAD RESTAURANT before a good night rest. After a good night rest, enjoy Continual Breakfast, we will visit Heini's Cheese Chalet, Kaufman’s Bakery, The Christmas Shop lunch at Dutch Valley and a Christmas Show at the Star Theater on Dutch Valley Campus. Then off to Cambridge Ohio to walk the streets and visit Little Dickens Victorian Village. Where you will see New England Character mannequins along the lamp post frozen in time. Then we will stop for dinner and rest area stop before heating home. July 13, 14, Nashville, TN Depart from Wheelersburg, Ironton, South Point, on Saturday morning. Fast food stop en route to Nashville, Arrive in Nashville, free time, Coach will drop you off downtown Nashville, coach will return to pick you up that evening, or you can choose taxi back to the hotel for the night. Cost includes Hotel, motor coach transportation will depart at 10 am
