Jerry Citarella Presents Your Guide to a Successful financial Planning Experience

He worked as a janitor and left $6 MILLION to a hospital and library. 🤯

Ronald Read’s story is extraordinary. But the question it raises applies to all of us: when your income grows, does every extra dollar become another monthly payment, or does some go toward your future?

There’s room to enjoy life today while building something for tomorrow. That balance matters.

What would you want your money to make possible for you? More time with family? Travel? A legacy? Tell me below. 👇

A $0 monthly premium doesn’t mean your Medicare plan costs you nothing. 👀

Copays, deductibles, prescriptions, and out-of-pocket expenses all matter. The plan with the lowest premium could end up costing you more throughout the year.

Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15–December 7. Before choosing your coverage, compare the total yearly cost and check that your doctors and medications are covered.

Watch this breakdown, and send it to a parent, friend, or family member reviewing their options.

What matters more: what you know or who you know? 🤔

Mia put me on the spot with this one. Knowledge matters, but having good people around you can open doors, help you grow, and give you people to share it all with.

Keep learning. Build relationships. Know who you can call.

Which would you choose? 👇

“How much money do I need to retire?”

I was answering this question 15 years ago, and I’m still hearing it today.

There’s no magic number that works for everyone. Your lifestyle, goals, and financial situation should shape the answer.

“How much money will I need to retire?”

I was writing about this question in my newspaper column 15 years ago, and it’s still one of the biggest questions people ask me today.

Behind that question is something personal: Will I have enough to live the life I’ve worked so hard for?

Tomorrow, I’m sharing a video taking a closer look at this conversation and why it still matters. Stay tuned. 👀

What’s your biggest question about retirement? Drop it below. 👇

Your car insurance went UP… but you haven’t had a single accident or ticket?

Before you pay that renewal, make sure you're not leaving money on the table.

Here are 3 things most drivers overlook:

✅ Shop around. Being loyal to the same insurance company for 10+ years doesn't guarantee you're getting the best rate.

✅ Update your mileage. If you're driving less than you used to, you could be paying more than necessary.

✅ Review overlapping coverage. You might already have certain benefits through AAA or other services. Make sure you're not paying twice for similar protection.

The goal isn't to sacrifice coverage. It's to stop overpaying for what you actually need.

💰 A 15-minute phone call could potentially save you hundreds per year.

Save this before your next renewal, and send it to someone who's tired of watching their insurance bill climb.

Your kids will learn about money from someone. Make sure you’re part of that conversation.

Mia came with 5 questions:
“How much do I need to retire?”
“Should I sell when the market drops?”
“Do I really need life insurance?”

Questions plenty of adults have, too.

So we’re breaking them down, one question at a time, in plain English. Swipe through. 👉

That hospital bill deserves a second look. 👀🏥

Before paying, here are three questions worth asking:

✅ “Do you offer a prompt-pay discount?”
✅ “Am I eligible for financial assistance?”
✅ “Can I get an itemized bill to review the charges?”

Don’t assume you won’t qualify for help, and don’t be afraid to question a charge that doesn’t make sense. A conversation with the billing department could help you keep more money in your pocket. 💰

Save this for later and share it with someone facing a hospital bill. Follow for more practical money tips!

Before you book your next flight, watch this. ✈️

I’m sharing five tips to help you spend less on airfare, but don’t get so caught up chasing the perfect price that you miss the trip worth taking. Some memories are worth far more than the money you save.

Save this for your next vacation, and tell me: where are you flying next? 👇

Are our kids learning more, or just getting better at getting the answers? 🤔

A good grade should reflect real understanding. With AI at their fingertips, I think we need to ask how we’re helping our kids think critically, solve problems, and use these tools to strengthen their knowledge.

Their future depends on what they can do beyond the classroom.

Parents, teachers, and students, what are you seeing firsthand? Let’s talk in the comments. 👇
