The progress of the chapel is almost complete. We're so thankful to God and our supporting prayer partners!!.. A small porch and some electrical work still needed, then, we just need to get it painted with whitewash for that country look!...

We are excited to announce that we got the much needed road repairs completed for the Secret Place on Eck Hollow Road!! Praise God!
This road needed widened in some areas and was in need of new culverts!
A BIG THANK YOU to the road crew for their outstanding work and to get it completed in just 3 days!!
God IS good!!

"Property at Red Lick dedicated for pastors' Retreat"
On Saturday, March 19, 2016 Tim and Julie Barnhart, founders of A Helping Hand Ministries, held a prayer and dedication ceremony of their property on Eck Hollow Rd. Irvine.
The property was purchased in 2014 for the purpose of starting up a personal "Respite" Retreat for pastors, clergy and missionaries. It was named " The Secret Place", as referred to in the Scripture, Psalm 91:1&2.
This Retreat is to help those draw closer to God and to regain strength, peace and stability in the mist of a "chaotic world".
Pastor Paul Groves of River Drive Christian Church, Irvine and Pastor Curt Napier of Irvine First Church of the Nazarene performed the ceremony.
The "Secret Place" is still in the beginning stages of building a host home, several cabins and a dining hall.

The taking down of the old cabin is almost complete...Thanks to some great volunteers ! Then we'll be needing some volunteers to help rebuild a new one! Praise God for His many blessings!!
