This is Disney at Halloween. 🎃

I've walked Main Street under the pumpkin wreaths, watched the Boo to You parade roll past — skeleton band, Donald and Daisy in costume, and the hitchhiking ghosts bringing up the rear. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the most fun the parks have all fall, and the popular party nights sell out every year.

This is why I keep telling people to slow down at Disney. 🐠

Tucked into a corner of Typhoon Lagoon sits the personal diving bell of Captain Mary Oceaneer — one of Disney's threaded-story characters. Every rust spot is intentional, there's a whole lore, and most guests float right past it.

That's the difference between booking a trip and planning one — and it's exactly the kind of detail I watch for when I plan yours.

New obsession at Disney Springs — and it's perfectly on-theme for October. 🎃

This is Six Ravens (.ravens), the new savory spot from the team behind Gideon's Bakehouse (). Their signature? "Coffyns" — hand pies made with fluffy yeast bread, stuffed with fillings created alongside local Orlando chefs. ⚰️

Medieval vibes, raven lore, and a motto I can't get over: "If it is good, 'tis better in a coffyn."

Epic Universe has a second act, and it starts when the sun goes down. 🌙

I stood at the edge of the Celestial Park lagoon and watched fountains and fireworks light up the night with the Helios Grand Hotel glowing behind them. Then there's the entrance — the Chronos shooting beams of light into the sky.

My take after being there: don't leave at dinner. Stay for the night show. And fall evenings are perfect for it — the sun sets earlier, so you get all of this without a late night.
