Nice day with Dan and Dody again yesterday. The rain let up for the most part and it wasn't too breezy in the Backcountry. Got on a good tarpon nite early we missed a few and got one for Dan. It dried up on us after a couple hours and we looked around in some other areas. Didn't see a whole lot we worked a couple areas and eventually jumped one other fish. Then at the end of the day we came across some busting fish on a bait run. Lots of activity we pulled in and put a few baits out and shortly after got a nice 50 lber for Dody. Looking like we should have a nice October for tarpon fishing if you're looking to chase the silver king this can be a good time in the Fall!

Fantastic day with Dody and Dan! They wanted tarpon and tarpon was what they got! Beautiful fall weather with a light northeasterly wind in the morning... Cooler air and plenty of happy silver fish. We had quite a few bites and landed several and also got a big snook for Dody. Back at it tomorrow then looks like some weather later in the week. We are suppose to fish 3 days but luckily they're here for a week and were able to adjust based on conditions and get out there today and hopefully tomorrow too!

Awesome day with Jon and Tanya last week. Couple shots at tarpon and plenty of snook and juvenile Goliath groupers. I've just opened some more days up next week and through October. It's a great time to come fishing as we get into fall with the bait runs and getting the place to yourself being off season. If you're thinking of coming fishing give me a shout and let's get it set up!

Well officially got back out on the water again yesterday! For those who don't know I was struck by lightning about 3 weeks ago. Scary situation but thanks to quick thinking CPR by my customers, and fast action from islamorada fire rescue along with help from Jake and Lainey to get them to me, I survived. And thanks to great care from HCA Kendall Ive also made a complete recovery and have been able to get back to normal life pretty quickly. I want to say thanks to everyone for the well wishes and concern it was truly appreciated. Hopefully I'll have nothing but fish pictures to post here for the foreseeable future! 😂
