Last week we had one of the biggest fish fly hatches I've seen in years. With that behind us we had a beautiful weekend out on the pontoon with friends. Lots of sun, calm water and the fish were hungry. What an amazing pond.

What an absolutely beautiful week of weather for fishing on Mille Lacs.
The fishing was perfect: size, numbers and doubles.
We had a lot of fun with some Great Dads making memories with their kids fishing.
I'm not exactly sure who had more fun, the kids or the dad's.
Either way... thanks Dad & Grandpa for taking me fishing.
