After months of planning, it all came together!

Since September, staff from The Cornell Commitment, Einhorn Center, and Cornell Dining have been working on the first-ever Student Employment Awards Ceremony—and on April 11th, they had the honor to celebrate and recognize 12 of the brightest among 2,500+ incredible student employees across the division, along with one truly outstanding supervisor.

Twelve Cornell students and one staff member earned awards for their exceptional contributions within Student and Campus Life.

Cornell Tradition Fellow, Kathryn Erich '26 doing work with local students through the TST-BOCES Career Skills Club

The student-run club works with TST-BOCES students with intellectual disabilities to develop communication and life skills, and a sense of curiosity and confidence, that help them as they transition out of school.

Despite the cold and snowy weather, Day 2 of Student Employment Week was a huge success!
Yesterday, we showed our appreciation for student workers with a goody bag and succulent giveaway at the library in Willard Straight Hall.

Join us for an in-person alumni chat session with Pratima T. Narayan, ILR ’02; an attorney with 18 years of experience at the intersection of law, human rights, and corporate accountability. Pratima has served as a Senior Advisor in the Biden-Harris Administration, providing strategic counsel on global atrocity prevention, and has led high-level initiatives with the U.S. Department of State and the United Nations.
From advocating for human rights to managing crisis response and investigations globally, Pratima has worked on the frontlines of global justice. Her career spans leadership roles in the U.S. and abroad, including work in South Sudan, Myanmar, and the Asia-Pacific region.
