Who’s excited to meet Mr. Clarke during Hawkins Weekend?

Randy Havens, the actor who brought Hawkins’ favorite science teacher to life, will be joining the fun! One of my favorite Mr. Clarke moments is when Joyce visits him for help figuring out why her magnets have stopped working. As he demonstrates electromagnetism beside his miniature town, you can spot a tiny Beetlejuice tombstone—such a cool tribute to Winona Ryder and her role as Lydia Deetz!

One of our favorite parts of the Slime Lab is the giant bubble experiment! Everyone gets a chance to see just how big of a slime bubble they can blow. Who do you think will win this round—Ashton or Cannon?

Have you gotten your tickets to the ultimate ’80s concert for Stranger Things fans?

October 3rd, Atlanta Vice will be performing a tribute to the unforgettable music featured in our favorite show, including songs by Cyndi Lauper, Prince, David Bowie and more. This band is incredible, and Saturday night in Hawkins is going to be so much fun!

The concert runs from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Free shuttles will take guests from downtown Hawkins to the amphitheater. Food trucks will be on-site, with b**r and w**e available for purchase.

This is one of the coolest parts of Hawkins Weekend—you can win this one-of-a-kind original painting by local artist Eloise Shack!

Eloise created this Stranger Things-inspired piece exclusively for Halloween in a Small Town: Welcome to Hawkins. Tickets are only $11, and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Chamber Community Foundation, which provides educational opportunities and scholarships for students in Butts County.

The winner will be drawn Sunday, October 4th, at 6:00 PM at the Historic Courthouse and Welcome Center in Jackson. You do not have to be present to win!

Looking for something a little scarier during Hawkins Weekend?

Terror Mills Haunted House is located right here in Jackson, and it’s a good one! This huge haunted house returns every year, and we’re making it even easier to visit during Hawkins Weekend with free shuttles running from the downtown square to Terror Mills.

Admission is $25 per person, and you can purchase your tickets at the door. Once you step inside, you’re in for a frightfully good time!

Before the sun goes down, spend the day exploring downtown Hawkins. We’ll have pumpkin carving, Stranger Things filming-location tours, the Hawkins Halloween Slime Lab, escape rooms, special events inside our downtown shops, painting workshops with Ellen King and Wil Rivera, and plenty more happening throughout the weekend.

Then, when you’re ready for a real scare, hop aboard the free shuttle and head over to Terror Mills!
