I would like to take a moment to thank you so much for your continued support of Performance Travel. The current owner of the agency has decided to pursue another direction and has decided to close Performance Travel effective Friday, January 13th. The only reason this Friday the 13th would prove to be a bad day, is we are saying goodbye to a wond
erful place we have called home for the past 19+ years. The wonderful part of this, a new travel Agency is born. Please allow me to introduce "Aloha Travel by Performance". I know you are all probably thinking...oh great! We know how much Jen loves Hawaii......now it's all just about Hawaii. I chose this name for many reasons. I certainly love Hawaii, there is no doubt about that. It is more than that though......It's about what "Aloha" means. It has many different meanings, hello, goodbye and love. Its deeper meaning is the joyful (oha) sharing (alo) of life energy (ha) in the present (alo). It is not only the meanings of the word, but also the Spirit it evokes. "The Spirit of Aloha" is a reference to the attitude of friendly acceptance for which the Hawaiian Islands are famous for. It also refers to a powerful way to resolve any problem, accomplish any goal, and also to achieve any state of mind or body that you desire. This is what we want to bring to our clients. I would hope over the years we have made you feel like family, because you are our family. We have had the opportunity to welcome new babies, plan spring breaks, honeymoons, milestone anniversaries and share many events with you over the last 19+ years. It has been amazing to being a part of them all. You mean the world to us and we hope you will love our new and improved agency. You will see some new faces and some old ones.....meaning me, you couldn't get rid of me, even if you tried. I am very sad to say our dear Catherine decided to take this opportunity to stay home with her two sweet girls. I'm hoping she will do some outside sales for us during naptime. She has only been gone for 10 days and she is truly missed. Our new faces include the Best Outside Sales Staff in the world, Catherine Daly, Peggy Baarns, Sharon Watters, Sonia Walton, Angela Shaw, Lisa Pritt, Michelle Radcliffe, Gay Saylor. You could very well see a glimpse of them in the near future. They will be assisting me inside and out of the office. The main thing I ask is that you please be patient with us, we are doing our very best to get back with you as quickly as possible. Although we will be going through some transitions over the next 90 days or so, I want to you be assured you are in good hands and we will do our very best to make this transition is as easy as possible. All of your reservations are secure. We will receive documents just as we normally would. Final payments can be made as normal, any check forms of payment you might bring in or mail in need to be made payable to "Aloha Travel". I have reduced the hours to 9am to 530pm Monday-Friday until I can get fully staffed again and will take appointments on Saturdays. If you happen to drive by and see the building is for sale....."No Worries", no plans on changing location for now. We will cross that bridge if we come to it. I hope you will stand beside us and please be patient during this time. I will do everything possible to take care of you to the very best of my abilities.
