Heads-Up: UK Travel Just Got a Little More Paperwork-y

Did you know starting January 8, 2025, anyone traveling to, from, or even just waving hello to the UK (yes, this apparently includes connecting flights) will need a shiny new UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).

Yep, even if you’re just spending quality time in Heathrow, Gatwick, Belfast, Glasgow …. for that legendary 2-hour layover, this bad boy is non-negotiable. Think of it as your golden ticket to not being stuck at passport control.

So, if you’ve got plans to pass through the land of tea, scones, and terribly unpredictable weather, get cracking on that ETA!

Procrastinators, consider this your warning: wait too long, and you’ll be stuck at home sipping tea from a YETI tumbler instead of a proper British teacup.

Just a hop, skip, and a fly ball away—less than 10 miles, to be exact—from where the first Little League® game was played, you’ll find the Little League International Complex. This place has hosted the Little League Baseball® World Series since 1959, and with over 80 acres in Williamsport to explore, it’s the perfect getaway for families and visitors of all ages. Every August,the World Series (LLBWS) turns into a must see event that’s on bucket lists worldwide—and the best part? It’s absolutely FREE to attend.
Not even sure how to start describing how thrilling it is that our Lake Mary, FL, Little League team just won the US championship and I heard that last time a Florida team took the title, dinosaurs were rounding the bases. Today, these incredible 10-12 year-olds will battle it out with the Asia Pacific winning team from Taiwan China in quest of the World Title. Can they pull it off? Tianjin, China: where tradition meets modern. This bustling, friendly port city serves as the gateway to Beijing—just a breezy three-hour drive inland (whoever designed that route must’ve had a good laugh!). Tianjin itself has a stunning art museum, charming avenues dubbed the “Fabulous Five,” and the iconic Ancient Culture Street. History- O***m Wars to… the Shi mansion built by a runaway concubine? This place has seen it all! Loved the friendly residents.

During their stay at Raffles Bali, they were greeted with a surprise upon returning to their luxury panoramic villa after a delightful Balinese dinner.
