Okay, can we talk about September in Jacksonville?
This is the month locals quietly keep to themselves. The crowds thin out, the ocean is still bathwater-warm, and the whole calendar fills up with good stuff โ right here in town.
Here's what we've got our eye on:
๐ #904 Day โ Sept 4, a citywide celebration of everything local, from Downtown's Riverfront Plaza to shops all over Duval
๐ Jaguars football is back at EverBank Stadium (the tailgate scene alone is worth the trip)
๐บ The Jax Ale Trail โ 25+ local breweries, a stamped passport, and bragging rights when you finish
๐ด Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park โ miles of trails, a freshwater lake, and some of the best beginner surf around
๐จ Riverside Arts Market every Saturday under the Fuller Warren Bridge
๐ข Sea turtle nesting season is still on through October โ nests marked all along Jax Beach
Real talk: September is the sweet spot. Save this for your next trip and screenshot it for the group chat.
