Happy Travel Advisor Day ✈️

Coming to you live from my consortia’s annual conference, TLN EDGE…slightly over-caffeinated, wildly inspired, and very much reminded why most people have no idea what actually goes into this job.

Because no…I don’t just “book trips.” 🤭

I know which suite is worth the splurge and which one is a hard pass.

I know who to call when something goes left and how to fix it fast.

I’ve walked the properties, met the people, done the FAM trips, asked the questions you don’t even know to ask yet.

While the internet is giving you 47 tabs and a mild identity crisis…I’m over here making sure your trip feels seamless, elevated, and actually worth your time and money.

That’s the difference.

So today? I’m celebrating the relationships, the access, the behind-the-scenes magic…and yeah, the fact that I care deeply about getting it right so you don’t have to care about anything at all.

As it should be. 😉

San Diego, you did NOT miss. 🌊☀️

My first time to this city and flew in early. Two days of pure soul lifting time before the work started. Family time, Coronado Island lunch with clients who are honestly just really good humans and longtime friends! Zero pictures taken of the family. Except cousin pupper Ozzie. Obviously. 🐾😍 No regrets. Because it was TIME well spent beyond my phone.

Then the Ga***rd Pacific Resort walked in and changed everything. The largest hotel in California , sitting right on the Chula Vista Bayfront. All-glass atrium, sweeping bay views, water features, and oversized folding doors that open straight to the Pacific. Nine restaurants. Full spa. A 4.25-acre water park. Outrageously amazing is an understatement.

The real reason I’m here: TLN Edge Conference. Travel Leaders Network’s annual conference where advisors gather for education, supplier connections, and the tools to grow as a modern travel professional. 2,000+ industry pros under one roof. This is not a vacation masquerading as a conference. This is work. 💼✈️ But it’s work with a side of fun!

I run a travel business.

But I’m also a human, a mother, and an American.

I haven’t been posting much here this past year because life has felt heavy…for a long time now.

At the same time, we’ve been busy doing what we do best: planning and sending people on adventures all over the world.

Both things can be true.

Air travel is astounding and extraordinary…

I will never take for granted that we can be a bazillion miles away from home in the morning and yet sleep in our own bed that evening!! What a gift!

And sometimes you get presents like following a rainbow back to your home.

It can certainly be a pain still at times but I’m going to hold on to the gold of air travel more than the pain.

Because adventures are always worth it!!
