I hired this dude as my guide today and all he wanted to talk about was how all these fly fisherman are out here stressing out Smallmouth Bass and giving them tiger stripes. His sister wasn’t having any of that nonsense. Man can he row a boat though!😂😂😂

Family day on the river was a success! These kids and dog have one thing on their mind, SWIMMING. And no I didn’t spell fishing incorrectly. 🤪

You could be out on the beautiful & pristine rivers and creeks of the Ozarks, casting dry flies to 4-18” trout - OR, you could be doing the same exact thing but to giant Grass Carp😎. Almost same gear, some of the same flies,(tied on beefy wide gap hooks), and stealthy presentations make the differences between these two styles of fishing quite similar.

Come on out with me and try this! It can come across as intimidating but if you can cast about 20’, you can do get it done. Most fish I hook into are less than that distance from me. Let’s go HUNT😎 PS, check out the scraper I found while walking around after that catch!

Absolute MAYHEM!! Often you can catch Smallmouth using the regular Ol’ tricks & tactics, but then there are those times where that isn’t exactly going to cut it. This day was one of those days. Using a special technique that I’m going to keep quiet about for now, Juan and his daughter Adrienne were handing out sore jaws left & right. Sometimes you have to think outside the box, and this time it paid off BIG TIME.

Adrienne took the big fish title home with a few high quality catches. Dad “Juan” could not have been more proud!!

Way to go guys, that sure was a fun one!
