December & January openings on the Niangua River for Trout! As long as the air temps stay around or above freezing, we are going! Waders are not required. Rubber boots to briefly step out of the boat at most. Full day, all equipment, lunch, & shuttle included! Catch trout in style out of my Clackacraft DriftboatšŸ¤™šŸ˜Ž
Special December/January rate is $450 for one person, $550 for 2.

I need your opinion. Iā€™ve been tying the S*x Dungeon fly pattern for many years. Originally, I tied it just as its creator did, using mostly all natural fibers & feathers. What I now tie and have been calling a S*x Dungeon for quite some time, hardly looks like Kellyā€™s original pattern. Its construction most definitely makes it something different. Since I sell these, I want to make sure Iā€™m calling a fly what it isā€¦.
Is this still a S*x Dungeon, or is it time to name this thing?

The trout fishing is starting to heat up in the Niangua River. Rainbows have been keyed in on nymphs & attractors. Browns are now aggressively chasing streamers lately. Itā€™s on!!!!

The fly responsible for around 70% of the top water eats in my boat. This thing flat out humbles the bass & bigger trout.
